The Kertosono-Kediri toll gate is currently under construction and operated in 2021. This toll gate is the entrance of vehicles that move from the industrial area of Mojokerto, Kertosono. For exit access this toll gate serves vehicles through the Maron Kediri toll gate, and the Sonoagung Pambon toll gate. If the toll booths operated are not in accordance with the amount of vehicle flow, it can cause poor vehicle traffic performance. The purpose of this study was to the optimal number of the gate in serving toll user transactions. The method in this study uses the number of optimal gate rules carried out by organizing data based on variable values and parameters traffic intensity per lane in the toll-gate section. These variables include the average number of vehicles received per hour and the average number of vehicles received per hour. Based on the analysis shows the number of toll booths for the Maron Kediri toll gate with 95 units/hour as many as 4 gates, 189 units/hour requires 8 gates, and 284 units/hour requires 10 gates. The Sonoagung Prambon toll gate with 118 units/hour as many as 4 gates, 236 units/hour requires 8 gates, and 353 units/hour requires 10 gates.

The decision to relocate to the capital city of Indonesia needs to be supported by complete infrastructure, one of which is a technology-based smart port. Ports play an essential role in supporting the country’s economy. A port can be categorized as a smart port if it meets four main criteria: energy, operations, safety & security, and environment. This study will discuss the concept of smart port operation to realize the Master Plan of the New National Capital City of Indonesia (IKN) in terms of technology infrastructure, mobility, and smart city connectivity using the literature review method. The location of this research is in the Kaltim Kariangau Terminal (KKT), West Kalimantan Province. Most port activities in administration, loading, and unloading at the Kaltim Kariangau Terminal (KKT) still use conventional methods. There are three aspects of operations to fulfill smart port criteria: productivity, automation, and intelligent infrastructure. Productivity refers to the optimization level of activity on the port; RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology may increase the port’s productivity by decreasing the amount of time to identify every single container. AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) with an automatic guiding device allow movement along a path that the system has determined to support the automation system. The application of automatic gates for checking goods in the entry gate supports the intelligence infrastructure to obtain data in real-time and quickly. The implementation of smart ports directly also supports the creation of IKN following the IKN Master Plan, which refers to Law No. 3 of 2022 concerning the State Capital covering aspects of Smart City implementation, Mobility and Connectivity, Technology, Information, Communication Infrastructure, and IKN Security Systems.

The difficulty in controlling the proper bonding during manufacturing sandwich for ship structure is a major problem. One of the damage types that often occurs is debonding caused by the lack of the adhesive layer bond between the two faceplate materials and the sandwich core at the centre. Furthermore, the identification of damage in ship structure becomes essential to ensure the structural integrity and security issues. Based on the issues above, damage identification on the sandwich plate of Ferry Ro-Ro with several debonding ratios using the k-NN algorithm was proposed. The cross-validation method was used to check the validity of the proposed algorithm model in practice. The proposed models were analyzed with various k-fold values, k-NN values, and number of iterations to investigate the influence of the those parameters on the accuracy of the model. From the result, it can be found that increasing k-fold value is the best strategy to increase the accuracy of the model. However, increase number of neighbors (k) caused a bias so that the accuracy decreased. The tests resulted in the highest accuracy of 97.60% obtained at k-fold 11 with k=3 and 90 iterations. It can be summarized that the large number of k-folds and small k-NN parameters do not require large iterations to obtain high prediction results.

The Wayang Windu geothermal field, a geothermal system zone that produces energy sources located in Pengalengan and Kertasari Districts, Bandung Regency, West Java, Indonesia. The interpretation of surface minerals considers the alterations in volcanic rocks that occur at the research site. The distribution of surface minerals is closely related to the fracture pattern and the position of manifestation. The testing method that we used is the X-Ray diffraction method, which aimed to identify surface minerals. Silica (cristobalite, quartz, tridymite, opal), sulfate (alunite), oxide minerals, and clay minerals (kaolinite, smectite) are minerals that are often found on the surface. Native sulfur is often found in the primary manifestation of the crater. X-Ray Fluorescence is used to determine the main elements and traces in a sample. Andesite and andesite-basaltic-rock are rock types that are found in the research area. The XRF analysis results show that the SiO2 distribution is inversely proportional to the Al2O3, Fe2O3, and K2O distributions.

The renovation of the St. Yohanes Evangelist Church project located on 197, Melawai Street Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta with a building area about 1480.9 m2 was chosen as a research object because the Church Construction Committee wanted to accelerate the renovation project from 2 years 5 months targeted to 1 year 5 months. This is because the Church of St. John the Evangelist as a place of worship can be immediately used again. The PERT method can be used to manage projects more efficiently and effectively; to be able to know the possibility of accelerating the duration of the project carried out on activities in the critical path and the shortening of the duration of each work on each alternative is equalized. In this study, the critical path compression step of the network using Microsoft Project and the results of the Project Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) method, obtained a probability of 99.88%, so the renovation project of Saint John Evangelist Church can be an accelerated project to 1 year 5 months.

Clean water is one of the most important needs, including for daily drinking, because 70-80% of the human body is water. There are many benefits of consuming adequate drinking water for health. Consuming clean and healthy water is one of the keys to getting a healthy body, because water also plays a role in oxygen transportation throughout the body. To produce clean and healthy water, technological innovations are needed, one of which is to use a nano filter-based device which can reduce solutes, colour, hardness and high metal ions by up to 70%. The purpose of this research is to produce drinking water that is healthy and can be useful in health therapy with nano material-based filters. The resulting water product is drinking water with a pH of 8+. This nano material-based tool has been tested using 3 water samples, namely well water, PDAM water and river water. The results showed that well water with a pH of 8.71, TDS (total dissolved solid) 282 and a test of 4 heavy metals (Pb, Cu, Zn and Cr) were below the threshold and the results after filtering were the most ideal among other water samples and recommended for consumption that can afford for health therapy.

Some petroleum wells that are no longer productive still have heat in their formation rocks. Those heat can be extracted and utilized by injecting working fluid into the wellbore. The current study's objective was to create a 2D numerical calculation program for transient flow temperatures inside the well then it was used to calculate the temperature distribution in oil and gas fields in the Arun field and BK Area. The injected fluids were modeled as a double-pipe heat exchanger. Heat transfer processes inside the wellbore were convection in the inner pipe and the annulus and conduction in the pipe walls and rock formations. The computational calculation used a finite difference method. The computation results were then compared with calculations from the literature. After being validated, the program was used to calculate the Arun field and BK Area temperature distributions. This study found that compared with the reference literature, the current results had a similar optimum temperature range of 130°C-160°C but had different profiles shape with an average deviation of 12%. In the Arun fields, simulation results indicated that the field could reach temperatures between 90°C-120°C and was classified as a medium-temperature geothermal source. BK Area could reach optimum temperatures between 50°C-80°C and be classified as the low-temperature geothermal.

Phycocyanin is a pigment compound that can be found from Spirulina platensis microalgae. It has been used for food colorant, cosmetic dye and fluorescence reagent for clinical diagnosis. Phycocyanin can be extracted using various procedure that was affected by many factors, one of them is the type of solvent that was used in the extraction process. This research will study the usage of different solvents, using sodium phosphate buffer and calcium chloride. The extraction method used in this research is freeze-thawing. The parameters of this extraction are phycocyanin yield and purity. The obtained result shows a higher yield of phycocyanin from extraction using phosphate buffer, with the value of 35.31 mg/g, and a higher phycocyanin purity from extraction using CaCl2 with the ratio of 2.6.

The coffee industry in Sidoarjo produces coffee waste as coffee ground, coffee husk, and coffee return with the solid waste generation of about 5044.3 Tons/year. The coffee waste characters resemble organic waste, so it has potential as a composted raw material. This study aims to determine the selected variation raw material composition from the coffee industry based on Indonesian National Standard (SNI) Number 10-7030-2004 and the recycle potency of the coffee industry solid waste using composting technology. The research variables are the modified composting method (open windrow composting and Bacary Italian) and the co-composting method. The result of this research for all treatments showed that the concentration range of pH value 6.92-9.54, moisture 34.78-66.60%, C-organic 17.75-33.82%, N 1.45-2.93%, C/N ratio 10-13, P2O5 0.13-0.31%, and K2O 0.89-2.89%. The selected variation raw material composition of bio compost based on the compliance to SNI 10-7030-2004, which is 1.5 kg coffee ground + 1.35 coffee return + 0.15 kg coffee husk + 3 mL EM4 (K10). Based on K10 as the selected variation raw material composition of bio compost, the coffee industry solid waste recyclable is coffee ground 0.64%, coffee husk 0.20% and returned coffee 100%.
