Novel antioxidant peptide from broken rice resist H_(2)O_(2)-induced premature senescence in 2BS cells via PI3K/Akt and JNK/Bax signaling pathway

SGDWSDIGGR(S-10-R)is a kind of antioxidant peptide derived from broken *** the present study,the effects of S-10-R against H_(2)O_(2)-induced cell damage and premature senescence in 2BS cells were *** results indicated that S-10-R could improve cell viability and mitochondrial membrane potential at least 1.06 and 1.12 folds compared with senescence ***,S-10-R inhibitedβ-galactosidase,and DNA damage alleviates the effect on 2BS senescence cells due to scavenging *** apoptosis rate can be reduced by 80.58%.Furthermore,S-10-R could inhibit PI3K and Akt phosphorylation,downregulate Bax and caspases-3 expression,and inhibit premature senescence through activating PI3K/Akt related intrinsic apoptotic signaling pathways and suppressing JNK/Bcl-2 related mitochondria-dependent *** present study confirmed the feasibility of antioxidants as anti-aging drugs,as well as provided a substantial basis for future application of S-10-R as a functional ingredient against oxidative stress-induced premature aging.

This paper presents a self-heating-followed non-uniformity calibration (NUC) circuit for silicon diode uncooled infrared focal plane arrays (IRFPA). The proposed NUC voltage generator provides larger charge/discharge current to the successive capacitance load without increasing power consumption. The proposed NUC circuit achieves smaller settling time and lower noise, which improves the accuracy of the calibration process. For verification, a 6-bit NUC circuit for 640×480 silicon diode uncooled IRFPA has been designed in the 0.18μm CMOS technology. When driving a total capacitance load of 40nF, the settling time, output-referred RMS noise and power consumption of the NUC circuit is 7.74μs, 0.364μV, 2.4mW, respectively. © 2022 IEEE.

In order to overcome the large axial thrust generated by the working substance (steam or gas, etc) of turbomachinery, an asymmetric axial magnetic bearing (AAMB) is proposed. Firstly, the topology and features of the AAMB are introduced. The magnetic circuit model of the AAMB is established by the reluctance network method. Secondly, the constraints such as the load capacity and dimensions are considered. Then we take the shortest axial length as the optimization goal to design the AAMB, and the design scheme is obtained through genetic algorithm (GA). Finally, the supporting characteristics of the AAMB are verified by finite element method (FEM). The result shows that the overall axial length of the AAMB is less than 82.1 mm of that in the traditional design scheme. © 2022 IEEE.

The FPGA is widely used in the power electronics controller to provide real-time control and parallel computing. The robustness and develop efficiency of FPGA affect the safe operation and development period of power electronic equipment, respectively. The existing works mainly focus on the FPGA hardware architecture oriented to one or several power electronic equipment. To improve the flexibility and scalability of FPGA in power electronics controller, this paper presents a novel hardware architecture based on crossbar, which can decouple different FPGA function modules. The proposed hardware architecture can significantly improve the FPGA scalable and accelerate the development period of power electronic equipment. A verification platform is also designed with the proposed hardware architecture. The implementation results show that the presented hardware architecture based on crossbar achieves better scalability and can decouple different function modules design, compared with the existing works. © ACDC 2022. Halobenzoquinones(HBQs)are highly toxic disinfection byproducts(DBPs)and are also precursors of other DBPs such as trihalomethanes(THMs).The formation of THMs from HBQs during chlorine-only and UV/chlorine processes with or without bromide was investigated *** functional theory(DFT)reactivity descriptors were also applied to predict the nucleophilic/electrophilic reactive sites on HBQs and *** results were combined to explain the different behaviors of 2,6-dichloro-1,4-benzoquinone(2,6-DCBQ)and tetrachloro-1,4-benzoquinone(TCBQ)and to propose mechanism for the promoting roles of UV and hydroxylation of HBQs in THMs *** UV/chlorine,UV significantly enhanced THMs formation from 2,6-DCBQ compared to chlorine-only,mainly due to the production of OH-DCBQ^(*).Excited 2,6-DCBQ^(*)by UV benefited nucleophilic hydrolysis to produce OH-DCBQ^(*),which favored electrophilic attack by chlorine,thereby inducing more THMs ***/chlorine modestly promoted THMs formation from TCBQ compared to *** of TCBQ and UV irradiation were both important in promoting THMs formation due to the high electrophilic property of OH-TCBQ and TCBQ^(*).Meanwhile,hydroxylation of HBQs and CHCl3 formation were enhanced at higher *** work suggested that enhanced formation of THMs from HBQs should be considered in the application of combined UV and chlorine processes.

The high-precision fault diagnosis management method in multi-mode control systems was studied. Three typical power conversion circuits were selected to use full convolutional network (FCN), residual network (RESNET) and self-attention network (TRANSFORMER) for fault diagnosis algorithm research, and a fault diagnosis management method verification platform was built based on this. The algorithm model was built using Python in the Pytorch environment on a computer with 16GB RAM and a 3060 graphics card. The switching power supply circuit based on Tps53355 was analyzed by Pspice sensitivity, and 6 devices with the greatest impact on the output were obtained. The Adam optimizer was used, the total number of epochs trained was 60, and the mini-batch size was fixed to 64. The simulation verification showed that this model can achieve the system engineering management requirements: the fault detection accuracy is not less than 91%, the false alarm rate of lightweight power warning is not higher than 1.05%, and under multiple faults, no less than 3 composite faults can be identified. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper applies the information-aware weight method to the field of engineering where the validity of the data characteristics of the prediction object fluctuates or changes rapidly within a limited range. It clarifies the relationship between point similarity and regional similarity, so that the online prediction algorithm has a more acute data characteristic perception ability in the process of responding to data characteristic changes, and can control the life and performance of the product in real time. The error compensation algorithm is based on the relevant theory of the prediction ability solidification after the prediction model training and the use of prior error to approximate the posterior error in the prediction process of the online extreme learning machine derivative algorithm. By establishing a mapping relationship between the input data and the prediction error of the IPW-OSELM algorithm, an error compensation algorithm is formed. Starting from the cost function theory, the IPW-OSELM algorithm effectively integrates multiple parameters such as forgetting factor, regularization parameter and information-aware weight, which improves the overall performance of the WE-OSELM algorithm online prediction and can effectively manage large systems. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper investigates the spatial-temporal guidance problem for multiple unpowered High-speed Glid Vehicles (HGV). First, a 3D vector guidance law is given by extending the traditional 2D guidance law to 3D scenario, in which the terminal angle constraint and time-coordination of multiple HGVs are satisfied. Then, the time-to-go estimation problem considering moving target for HGV without active velocity control is addressed by numerical integration, and from which predictive intercepting point (PIP) is gained, thus the problem of intercepting a moving target simultaneously is simplified as guiding multiple HGVs to hit a fixed point along different directions at same time. Taking into account that aerial target can evade threats through terminal maneuvering, an extended state observer is used to estimate the acceleration of target. Accordingly, a sliding mode terminal guidance law designed in the framework of Line-of-Sight (LOS), which is different from the previous guidance law, is used to compensate the disturbance caused by the maneuvering target. Unlike similar existing results, the proposed guidance strategy for HGV can satisfy spatial-temporal constraints when the target is moving or maneuvering, and the guidance law designed in this paper is appropriate for unpowered vehicles without constant velocity. Numerical simulations are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed cooperative guidance law.
