In this paper a sustainable power generation system for Electric Vehicle Charging Station (EVCS) is proposed. This study explores the feasibility of an EVCS powered by a combination of Fuel Cell (FC), Biomass Generator (BMG) and Solar Photovoltaic (PV) generation. The Hybrid Optimization of Multiple Energy Resources (HOMER) software, a simulation software tool, is employed to perform the techno-economic analysis of the proposed EVCS system. Software's optimization capabilities are utilized to determine the optimized size and configuration of the renewable energy systems, accounting for the EV charging demand using available resources, and local conditions. The results demonstrate the potential of the integrated system to provide reliable and sustainable power for EV charging. The site taken into consideration for the real time load data is of the area CRPW+8G8, Himmat Ganj, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India (25°26.1'N, 81°50.8E). Overall, this research contributes to the understanding of the feasibility and benefits of integrating fuel cells, biomass, and solar PV in an EVCS and the potential of this sustainable system to reduce greenhouse gas emissions over conventional fossil fuel plants, promote renewable energy utilization, and enhance the sustainability of the transportation sector without stressing on the grid system. © 2023 IEEE.

One of the most important goals of theoretical ecologists is to find a strategy for controlling the chaos in ecological models to maintain healthy ecosystems. We investigate the influence of fear and the supply of additional food to predators in a delayed tri-trophic food chain model, where interference among the species is determined by Holling type-II functional response. The proposed model incorporates the fact that the growth rates of prey and middle predators are decreased due to the fear of middle and special predators, respectively. The additional food is supplied to both predators by either nature or external agencies. Furthermore, the poisoned prey in the predator's environment is taken into account. In the proposed model, we use two time delays: one for the growth term of the middle predator and another for the gestation delay of the special predator. We determine the conditions for the existence of ecologically feasible equilibrium points and their local and global stability. In addition, we establish the conditions for the existence of Hopf bifurcation around interior equilibrium to seek periodic behavior in nondelayed and delayed models. Numerical investigations are performed to justify the proposed theoretical findings through phase portraits, time series of solutions, and bifurcation diagrams. We observe that the chaotic dynamics of a tri-trophic food chain model can be controlled by the proper choice of the fear effect and by supplying additional food parameters. As a result, our findings provide more ecological insights into the dynamics of the delayed tri-trophic food chain model with the fear effect and additional food supply. © 2023 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

Power Electronics circuit are the vital part of any electrical vehicle (EV) system. It consists of DC-AC (or AC) Converters and DC-DC (or DC) Converters. The AC Converters are responsible for supplying the high power to electric motor and other miscellaneous systems, whereas the DC Converters are responsible for supplying power to DC loads in car and integrating the EV battery. This paper presents a detailed knowledge about the various charging converters used in the plug-in Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV's) and Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV's). The paper summarizes the different EV converter design approaches available in the literature which can be employed at fast charging stations, as well as on the on/off-board chargers and its application with neural network. © 2023 IEEE.

The most often utilized heat exchangers are tubular heat exchangers. Kern Method is one of the ways for thermally designing a shell and tube heat exchanger. A small scale 1, 2-shell and tube heat exchanger is fabricated after designing, in this paper. The experimental value of the overall coefficient of heat transfer is validated with the experimental value computed using the Kern Method, as well as to values found in the literature. The effects of tube outer diameter and tube thickness on the various parameters of a 1–2 tubular heat exchanger were investigated. The fluctuation of coefficients of heat transfer on the tube and shell sides, Reynolds numbers, drop in pressure, and overall heat transfer heat transfer coefficients are found. © 2022

This paper investigates the effects of load and operating temperature variation on fuel cell voltage, current, hydrogen consumption and efficiency using a generic PEMFC of 1.26kW capacity. Based on the obtained results, it is clear that the efficiency of the generic PEMFC is highest at a constant operating temperature i.e. 101.86°. The nominal efficiency of generic PEMFC i.e. 50%, can be enhanced to a maximum and minimum of 79% and 69% respectively depending on the load connected to PEMFC. Sensitivity analyzer tool has been used in for sensitivity analysis and MATLAB Simulink has been used for the simulation of generic PEMFC model. © 2023 IEEE.

India has one of the largest user bases for Internet-based services. In 2021, India had 624 million internet users, the second largest in the world11https://***/reports/digital-2021-india. With so many internet users, each generating lots of textual data, having tools to analyze the data can be very helpful to a wide variety of people including researchers, marketers, and product managers. Research regarding Sentiment Analysis in English is plentiful, but we need a different method to perform the same in Hindi, one of the most popular languages of the Indian subcontinent. In this paper, we use Transformer-based pre-trained models on Hindi Sentiment Analysis tasks. The sentiment analysis task is done on a dataset that has Hindi text and its corresponding sentiment as Positive, Negative, and Neutral. The Hindi text contains sentences collected from various sites. The sentences primarily contain product and movie reviews. The sentiment analysis is done using five different transformer-based models, out of which a few have been trained for multiple languages while the others have been fine-tuned specifically for the Hindi language. We also compare the performance of a few different multilingual models on sentiment analysis tasks. Out of all the models compared, we get the best accuracy of 82% from the Hindi Microsoft Multilingual-MiniLM-L12-H384 model. © 2022 IEEE. All rights reserved

E-rickshaws (or Electric-rickshaw) have sparked a great deal of interest as a green and sustainable transit option, as compared to traditional auto rickshaws that use fossil fuels. The primary component that affects E-rickshaw mobility over the course of its lifetime is its Energy Storage System (ESS). In contemporary E-rickshaws, lead-acid batteries are the most common form of ESS, hence it's essential to prolong their lifespan. From this perspective, we assess the potential for updating the traditional E-rickshaw's energy generation and storage systems for technological and financial gain by employing a solar PV panel on the rooftop. Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) is generally selected, but it reacts slowly to unpredictable transient events. Therefore, to construct a Hybrid Energy Storage System (HESS), a high-power density ESS like a supercapacitor (SCs) must be combined with a battery. In this paper, a combination of solar PV panel is installed over the E-rickshaw roof, along with the combination of both battery and SC as HESS. It is observed that HESS provides average power over extended periods of time and manages transient situations optimally. It normalizes the voltage and power at the DC link and regulates it according to the IEC 61000-3-2 standard. Finally, the MATLAB Simulink framework is used for performance analysis of the proposed system. © 2023 IEEE.

In developing countries, E-rickshaw is becoming popular and plays a vital role in initial and last-mile connectivity. The main reason for the wide acceptance of this mode of public transport is that it is economical as compared to a CNG auto, reduces air pollution, and provides better income opportunities. Over time, three major issues emerge related to the rise in fares, increased grid stress due to an increase in load demand for charging, and unsystematic disposal of lead-acid batteries. Presently, architectures for the charging station are available in the market but they are based on-grid supply which results in additional stress on the existing grid. In this proposed work a dedicated real-time socio-economic case study has been done to explore issues at the ground level to develop a photovoltaic (PV) based off-grid battery charging & swapping station (BCSS) and define a new category of E-rickshaw. The BCSS is proposed keeping objectives in mind to increase the return on investment (ROI) of both E-rickshaw owners by defining new a category & charging stations with fast recovery on the initial investments. © 2023 IEEE.

The designing and modeling of renewable based Electric Vehicle Charging Station (EVCS), using Solar Photovoltaics (SPV), SEPIC converter along with Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) control, a BUCK converter as Voltage Regulation (VR) mechanism and Constant Current (CC) and Constant Voltage (CV) battery control for Li-ion battery charging which here is assumed as EV battery is proposed. A detailed modeling of the system is done in MATLAB/SIMULINK. The increase in Electric Vehicle (EV) has led to increasing demand of EVCS. The design proposed here is for off grid standalone charging station with renewable source integration enhancing green and clean energy source for sustainable transportation. Standalone systems are required to power the charging stations where grid feasibility is not available like in rural areas. SEPIC along with MPPT algorithm is used to dynamically optimize operating points of SPV to achieve maximum energy under different environmental conditions. In this paper a sustainable power generation system for Electric Vehicle Charging Station (EVCS) is proposed. The adoption of FLC for CC-CV control is advantageous over PID control in dealing with nonlinearities and adapting real time conditions parameters in changing environment. The performance and feasibility of system is demonstrated via results of simulations in SIMULINK. The dynamic responses of FLC based CC-CV charging system and overall system is observed. © 2023 IEEE.

This article represents the model order reduction of a large-scale linear interval system. The desired order of numerator coefficients is measured using the Firefly algorithm based on integral square error (ISE) reduction as an objective function related to the unit step as input. The reduced-order system's denominator coefficients are calculated using the extension of the differentiation method. Stable reduced-order models are always generated using the suggested strategy. The numerical examples are presented to simplify the method’s accuracy, and the computational simplicity and system stability are confirmed using Kharitonov’s theorem. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
