In this study, K3Li2-xNb5+xO 15+2x (KLN) thin films were prepared by laser-ablated a sintered ceramic target. For an optimum deposition condition, in-situ post annealing method was employed on as-deposited films. XRD measurements showed that KLN films with (310) preferred orientation were obtained on fused quartz substrate. Surface morphology studies indicated mat in-situ post annealing could improve the surface quality of KLN thin films. The average transmittance of as-deposited and annealed films in the visible range was nearly 80% to 90%.

A material in the system W/W-Cu/Cu with a density gradient, which has an important application in dynamic high pressure physics, was prepared by one-step hot-press sintering. W-Cu composite interlayers were produced from W and Cu powders with Zn (2wt%) as the sintering aid. With increasing the sintering temperature, the relative density of W-Cu composites increased, reaching a higher value (>96%) at 850°C. Then by inserting three W-Cu composite interlayers between the tungsten and copper alloy plates followed by one-step hot-press at 850°C-20MPa-60min, a wholly dense W/W-Cu/Cu system functionally graded material was obtained, which had a large density range from 8.9 to 17.25g/cm3.

Al-doped ZnO(AZO) thin films were grown on c-sapphire substrates by laser ablation under different oxygen partial pressures(P_(O2)).The effect of P_(O2) on the crystal structure,preferred orientation as well as the electrical and optical properties of the films was *** structure characterizations indicated that the as-grown films were single-phased with a wurtzite ZnO structure,showing a significant c-axis *** films were well crystallized and exhibited better crystallinity and denser texture when deposited at higher P_(O2).At the optimum oxygen partial pressures of 10- 15 Pa,the AZO thin films were epitaxially grown on c-sapphire substrates with the(0001) plane parallel to the substrate surface,i e,the epitaxial relationship was AZO(000 1) // A1_2O_3(000 1).With increasing P_(O2),the value of Hall carrier mobility was increased remarkably while that of carrier concentration was decreased slightly,which led to an enhancement in electrical conductivity of the AZO thin *** the films were highly transparent with an optical transmittance higher than 85%.

A novel method was used to fabricate AlN coating on graphite substrate. This approach included two steps: firstly, the emulsion composed of BN and anhydrous ethanol was sprayed on the surface of the graphite substrate; secondly, AlN coating was formed through the in-situ reaction of Al with the sprayed BN. The reaction was investigated by thermogravimetric-differential thermal analysis (TG-DTA), and the phase composition in the synthetic process was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD). Scanning electronic microscopy (SEM) was used to observe the morphology, and electron probe microanalysis (EPMA) was used to observe the distribution of the elements. The experimental results show that the AlN coating is dense and bonded with graphite tightly.

In the present work,Fe–Mn–Al–C powder mixtures were manufactured by elemental powders with different ball milling time,and the porous high-Mn and high-Al steel was fabricated by powder *** results indicated that the powder size significantly decreased,and the morphology of the Fe powder tended to be increasingly flat as the milling time ***,the prolonged milling duration had limited impact on the phase transition of the powder *** main phases of all the samples sintered at 640℃ were α-Fe,α-Mn and Al,and a small amount of Fe2Al5 and *** the sintering temperature increased to 1200℃,the phase composition was mainly comprised of γ-Fe and α-*** weight loss fraction of the sintered sample decreased with milling time,i.e.,8.3wt% after 20 h milling compared to15.3wt% for 10 *** Mn depletion region(MDR) for the 10,15,and 20 h milled samples was about 780,600,and 370 μm,*** total porosity of samples sintered at 640℃ decreased from ~46.6vol% for the 10 h milled powder to ~44.2vol% for 20 h milled *** sintering at 1200℃,the total porosity of sintered samples prepared by 10 and 20 h milled powder was ~58.3vol% and ~51.3vol%,*** compressive strength and ductility of the 1200℃ sintered porous steel increased as the milling time increased.

Inorganic nanoparticles were used to treat cancer cells us well as normal cells. Ca9Sr( PO4)6(OH)2 nanopartides were prepared through homogeneous precipitation method. Strontium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide solation and monocalcium phosphate were used as initial materials. The strontium-doped hydroxyapatite nanoparticles were characterized by XRD, PCS and AFM. The nanoparticles were applied to interact with human bepatocellular carcinoma cells Bel-7402 and nornud liver cells L-02. Experimental results revealed that nano strontium-strontium apatiw has different bioeffects on proliferation of these two kinds of cells.

The HAP nanoparticles were synthesized with a chemical co-precipitation method. It was monodispersed in needle shape, Its average diameter was 30 nm and length was 70 nm. Human liver cancer cells and normal hepatic cells were treated by hydroxyapatite nanopartides. SR-XRF analysis was used to detect the content variation of calcium and phosphor elements in cancer cells when the cells were treated by hydroxyapatite nanoparticles. It was introduced to reveal the anti-cancer mechanism of HAP nanoparticles. Experiments verified that the contents of calcium and phosphor elements in hepatocelltdar carcinoma had been obviously increased after the cells were treated by hydroxyapatite nanoparticles. And the contents increased with hydroxyapatite concentration and treatment time increasing. The Ca/P molar ratio in treated cell was different from both that in hydroxyapatite and that in untreated cancer cell. Apatite nanoparticles evidently altered the calcium and phosphor environmeats in treated hepatocellalar carcinoma cells. That finally halted the proliferation of carcinoma cells.
