Effective identification of potential drug-drug interactions (DDIs) can prevent adverse effects caused by DDIs to a certain extent. This paper proposes the new hybrid method for predicting DDIs, which is called BiRW-KGBAN that combines bidirectional random walk and back aggregation based on knowledge graph. BiRW-KGBAN first constructs two knowledge graph KG-DrugBank and KG-KEGG that integrate data related to drugs. Then, an improved sampling method based on bidirectional random walk (BiRW) is used to sample the neighborhood information of drugs, including directly connected entities, related semantic relations and potential information. In addition, the path with drug as the center node is also extracted. Finally, two improved back aggregation model KGBAN1 and KGBAN2 are used to obtain the final embedded representation of the drugs. The experiments show that, compared with other existing methods, our method could obtain the higher-order topological information and the deeper potential neighborhood information of drugs, and has great improvements in DDIs prediction. The case study also shows that the proposed method has the potential for actual DDIs prediction. © 2022 IEEE.

Polarization and waveform optimization can significantly improve the detection ability of fully polarized radar. However, in practical scenarios, atmospheric particles frequently induce depolarization effects on radar waves, thereby influencing precise target detection, a phenomenon predominantly observed with raindrop particles. This paper establishes a target detection model for fully polarized radar in rainy condition. Subsequently, a joint transceiver iterative optimization algorithm is devised, utilizing the maximum output signal-to-interference plus noise ratio (SINR) of the system as the benchmark, and imposing dual constraints of energy and resemblance on the transmitting waveform. Ultimately, the effectiveness of the proposed method under rainy condition is validated through simulation, and recommendations for engineering applications are provided based on the analysis. © The Institution of Engineering & technology 2023.

To address issues such as frequent failures and high maintenance complexity in large overload static pressure turntables, this paper establishes a subsystem fault tree model for large overload static pressure turntables. It combines fuzzy mathematics theory to conduct a fault tree analysis, utilizing triangular fuzzy numbers to describe the failure probability of the turntable subsystem. This approach identifies the weak links that impact the reliability of the turntable system and devises reliability optimization solutions. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In cognitive radio networks(CRNs),multiple secondary users may send out requests simultaneously and one secondary user may send out multiple requests at one time,i.e.,request arrivals usually show an aggregate ***,a secondary user packet waiting in the buffer may leave the system due to impatience before it is transmitted,and this impatient behavior inevitably has an impact on the system *** to investigate the influence of the aggregate behavior of requests and the likelihood of impatience on a dynamic spectrum allocation scheme in CRNs,in this paper a batch arrival queueing model with possible reneging and potential transmission interruption is *** constructing a Markov chain and presenting a transition rate matrix,the steady-state distribution of the queueing model along with a dynamic spectrum allocation scheme is derived to analyze the stochastic behavior of the ***,some important performance measures such as the loss rate,the balk rate and the average delay of secondary user packets are ***,system experiments are carried out to show the change trends of the performance measures with respect to batch arrival rates of secondary user packets for different impatience parameters,different batch sizes of secondary user packets,and different arrival rates of primary user ***,a pricing policy for secondary users is presented and the dynamic spectrum allocation scheme is socially optimized.

Medical images are a critical component of the diagnostic process for *** the quality of medical photographs is essential to the accuracy of a physician’s diagnosis,they must be encrypted due to the characteristics of digital storage and information leakage associated with medical *** watermark embedding algorithm embeds the watermark information into the medical image,which reduces the quality of the medical image and affects the physicians’judgment of patient *** addition,watermarks in this method have weak robustness under high-intensity geometric attacks when the medical image is attacked and the watermarks are *** paper proposes a novel watermarking algorithm using the convolutional neural networks(CNN)Inception V3 and the discrete cosine transform(DCT)to address above mentioned ***,the medical image is input into the Inception V3 network,which has been structured by adjusting parameters,such as the size of the convolution kernels and the typical architecture of the convolution ***,the coefficients extracted from the fully connected layer of the network are transformed by DCT to obtain the feature vector of the medical *** last,the watermarks are encrypted using the logistic map system and hash function,and the keys are stored by a third *** encrypted watermarks and the original image features are performed logical operations to realize the embedding of *** the experimental section,multiple watermarking schemes using three different types of watermarks were implemented to verify the effectiveness of the three proposed *** NC values for all the images are more than 90%accurate which shows the robustness of the *** experimental results demonstrate the robustness under both conventional and high-intensity geometric attacks of the proposed algorithm.

Projection of droughts and their socioeconomic exposures based on terrestrial water storage anomaly over China

Global warming has altered the thermodynamic and dynamic environments of the climate system, thus affecting the energy budget and water cycle process of the land-atmosphere system. Under changes in key hydrological elements such as precipitation, runoff, and terrestrial water storage, future drought variation remains a complex question. Existing studies have utilized terrestrial water storage anomaly(TWSA) in drought monitoring and assessment, but they usually focused on either drought duration or intensity, overlooking the multi-faced attributes of droughts as well as their socioeconomic impacts under a non-stationary condition. In this study, we first identify dry/wet conditions over China using GRACE/GRACE-FO satellite observations, and then evaluate the feedback effects of humidity and energy factors(e.g., sensible heat flux, latent heat flux,atmospheric relative humidity, and convective available potential energy) to drought events. Future changes in TWSA and dry/wet conditions are projected by eight Coupled Model Inter-comparison Project Phase 6(CMIP6) global climate models(GCMs)under three shared socioeconomic pathways(SSPs), with their biases corrected by a trend-preserving quantile mapping *** time-varying Copula function of drought duration and intensity is constructed by a moving windows method, and future bivariate drought risks are quantified with the most likely realization method. The population and GDP affected by increasing drought risks are finally quantified based on the SSPs data. It is found that the land-atmosphere coupling effects closely interact with drought evolution, and the uneven distribution of water resources is projected to be further aggravated, with most areas of China will be threatened by continuous drying tendency. By the end of the century, the duration of moderate, severe and exceptional droughts in some regions of China will double, and the drought intensity will increase by over 80%. Contrastive Learning for Robust Android Malware Familial Classification

Due to its open-source nature, Android operating system has been the main target of attackers to exploit. Malware creators always perform different code obfuscations on their apps to hide malicious activities. Features extracted from these obfuscated samples through program analysis contain many useless and disguised features, which leads to many false negatives. To address the issue, in this paper, we demonstrate that obfuscation-resilient malware family analysis can be achieved through contrastive learning. The key insight behind our analysis is that contrastive learning can be used to reduce the difference introduced by obfuscation while amplifying the difference between malware and other types of malware. Based on the proposed analysis, we design a system that can achieve robust and interpretable classification of Android malware. To achieve robust classification, we perform contrastive learning on malware samples to learn an encoder that can automatically extract robust features from malware samples. To achieve interpretable classification, we transform the function call graph of a sample into an image by centrality analysis. Then the corresponding heatmaps can be obtained by visualization techniques. These heatmaps can help users understand why the malware is classified as this family. We implement IFDroid and perform extensive evaluations on two datasets. Experimental results show that IFDroid is superior to state-of-the-art Android malware familial classification systems. Moreover, IFDroid is capable of maintaining a 98.4% F1 on classifying 69,421 obfuscated malware samples. IEEE

Large perturbations in chlorophyll(Chl)are observed to coexist at interannual and tropical instability wave(TIW)scales in the tropical Pacific;at present,their combined effects on El Ni?o-Southern Oscillation(ENSO)through ocean biologyinduced heating(OBH)feedbacks are not understood ***,a hybrid coupled model(HCM)for the atmosphere and ocean physics-biogeochemistry(AOPB)in the tropical Pacific is adopted to quantify how ENSO can be modulated by Chl perturbations at interannual and TIW scales,individually or collectively,*** HCM-based sensitivity experiments demonstrate a counteracting effect on ENSO:the bio-climate feedback due to large-scale Chl interannual variability acts to damp ENSO through its impact on upper-ocean stratification and vertical mixing,whereas that due to TIW-scale Chl perturbations tends to amplify *** ENSO simulations are sensitively dependent on the ways Chl effects are represented at these different scales,it is necessary to adequately take into account these related differential Chl effects in climate modeling.A bias source for ENSO simulations is illustrated that is related with the Chl effects in the tropical Pacific,adding in a new insight into interactions between the climate system and ocean ecosystem on different scales in the *** results reveal a level of complexity of ENSO modulations resulting from Chl effects at interannual and TIW scales,which are associated with ocean biogeochemical processes and their interactions with physical processes in the tropical Pacific.

In this paper, the problem of sum-rate maximization for an active reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) assisted downlink rate-splitting multiple access (RSMA) transmission system is studied. In the considered model, the active RIS is deployed to overcome severe power attenuation, which is caused by the cumulative product of RIS incidence path loss and the reflection path loss. Since the active RIS can adjust both the phase and the amplitude of the incident signal simultaneously, the RIS control scheme requires delicate design to improve RSMA communication performance. To address this issue, a sum-rate maximization problem is formulated to jointly optimize the beamforming vectors, rate allocation vector, and RIS precoding matrix. To solve this non-convex sum-rate maximization problem, an iterative algorithm based on fractional programming (FP) and quadratic constraint quadratic programming (QCQP) is proposed. In particular, the proposed algorithm firstly decomposes the original problem into two subproblems, namely, 1) beamforming and rate allocation optimization and 2) active RIS precoding optimization. The corresponding variables of the two subproblems are optimized through sequential convex approximation (SCA) and block coordinate descent (BCD), respectively. Numerical results show that the proposed active RIS-aided RSMA system could increase the sum-rate by up to 45% over the conventional passive RIS-aided RSMA system with the same energy consumption. © 2023 IEEE.
