The short-circuit currents characteristics of renewable energy source (RES) and high voltage direct current (HVDC) system are different from the short-circuit currents characteristics of traditional synchronous generator (SG). According to the fault-ride-through (FRT) requirements of different types of RES, the steady-state short-circuit currents calculation models of doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) and inverter-interface renewable energy source (IIRES) such as photovoltaic (PV) and direct-drive permanent magnetic synchronous generator (D-PMSG) are built in this paper. Based on the converter switching function model and the HVDC control system, the calculation model of HVDC system steady-state short-circuit currents is built. Combined with RES and HVDC system short-circuit currents calculation models, a short-circuit currents calculation method for power system with multiple types RES and HVDC under ac power system fault is proposed. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method of short-circuit currents calculation is verified by simulation cases.

High power microwave pulse (HPMP) is an effective way to anti unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), and the jamming of frequency hopping (FH) communication is the best starting point to achieve anti UAV. This paper uses DJI Phantom 4 Pro as the research object and analyzed the relationship between the power, pulse width and duty cycle of HPMP to achieve the jamming of FH communication of the UAV based on its FH communication characteristics, and the reliability of the analysis is verified through experiments. This paper can provide a good idea for the design of an anti UAV scheme based on HPM.

The modular multi-level converter (MMC) has demonstrated significant potential in high voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission and high voltage motor drive applications. Constant common mode voltage (CMV) modulations for MMC can effectively reduce the common mode (CM) electromagnetic interference (EMI) in MMC by minimizing CMV fluctuations to zero under ideal condition. However, the dead time required to protect power semiconductor devices in MMC seriously weakens the suppression effect of constant CMV modulations on CM EMI. This paper presents a method of dead time compensation with carrier phase compensation for MMC using constant CMV carrier phase shifted (CPS) sinusoidal pulse width modulation (SPWM). Phase compensation (PC) CPS SPWM is one of the constant CMV modulations for MMC. The operation principle of PC-CPS SPWM is introduced, and the mechanism of CMV fluctuations caused by dead time is analyzed. Compensation strategies for carrier phase positions and modulation signals in dead time compensation of PC-CPS SPWM are presented as DPC-CPS SPWM. The simulation results validate the proposed method, providing guidance for modulation design in MMC with low EMI requirements.
