In this article, a collaborative guidance method is proposed to achieve a simultaneous attack on a maneuvering target at desired terminal angles. The guidance command of the leader missile consists of tangential acceleration along the line of sight (LOS) and normal acceleration perpendicular to the LOS direction. The former satisfies the constraint of impact time, while the latter realizes terminal angle-constraint interception. Specifically, a fixed-time observer is proposed to estimate the unknown maneuvering target acceleration disturbances and compensate for them in the design of the guidance method. A virtual sphere with an adaptive radius is then created, centered on a point along the line connecting the target and the leader missile. Subsequently, a state regulator is designed based on modern control theory to guide the follower missiles towards and track virtual points. This approach ultimately enables the missiles to achieve multi-directional coverage and effectively block the maneuvering target. Finally, the advantages and effectiveness of the collaborative guidance method proposed have been validated in simulation scenarios, where the maneuvering target is hit simultaneously by all missiles at the desired LOS angles. © 2024 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

Chlorinated Polythiophene-Based Donors with Reduced Energy Loss for Organic Solar Cells

The industrialization of organic solar cells(OSCs)faces challenges due to complex synthesis routes and high costs of organic photovoltaic *** address this,we designed and synthesized a series of polythiophene-based donor materials,PTVT-T-xCl(20%Cl,50%Cl and 100%Cl),by introducing different degrees of chlorine substitution within their conjugated *** incorporation of chlorine atoms does not change the planar conformation of the conjugated main chain of the control polymer,PTVT-T,but effectively reduces their HOMO energy levels(≤–5.3 eV)and alters the crystallinity of the *** addition,when preparing OSC by blending with non-fused electron acceptor A4T-16,the non-radiative energy loss of the three photovoltaic devices gradually decreased with the increase of chlorine content(0.343,0.278 and 0.189 eV,respectively).Notably,PTVT-T-20%Cl exhibited a more moderate nanoscale phase separation with the acceptor,leading to efficient exciton dissociation,lower bimolecular recombination,and thus a favorable current in the ***,the photovoltaic device based on PTVT-T-20%Cl:A4T-16 achieved a remarkable photovoltaic efficiency of 11.8%.In addition,the PTVT-T-xCl series polymers show much lower material-only-cost(MOC)values than the other reported photoactive material *** work provides the way for the development of low-cost photovoltaic materials and the industrial application of OSC,overcoming previous limitations posed by high energy losses in polythiophene-based donors.

Coal and gas outbursts are dynamic disasters in which a large mass of gas and coal suddenly emerges in a mining space within a split *** interaction between the gas pressure and stress environment is one of the key factors that induce coal and gas *** this study,first,the coupling relationship between the gas pressure in the coal body ahead of the working face and the dynamic load was investigated using experimental observations,numerical simulations,and mine-site *** was observed that the impact rate of the dynamic load on the gas-bearing coal can significantly change the gas *** faster the impact rate,the speedier the increase in gas ***,the gas pressure rise was faster closer to the impact ***,based on engineering background,we proposed three models of stress and gas pressure distribution in the coal body ahead of the working face:static load,stress disturbance,and dynamic load ***,the gas pressure distribution and outburst mechanism were *** high concentration of gas pressure appearing at the coal body ahead of the working face was caused by the dynamic *** gas pressure first increased gradually to a peak value and then decreased with increasing distance from the working *** increase in gas pressure plays a major role in outburst initiation by resulting in the ability to more easily reach the critical points needed for outburst ***,the stronger the dynamic load,the greater the outburst initiation *** results of this study provide practical guidance for the early warning and prevention of coal and gas outbursts.

This article investigates the distributed predefined-time (PT) fault-tolerant control for nonlinear multiagent systems (NNMSs) with nonaffine faults. A novel distributed PT control scheme is proposed based on a new PT theorem. The switching functions are introduced into distributed control signals to avoid the singularity problem. The second-order filter technology is designed to solve "explosion of complexity" issues. The newly designed PT compensation signals are utilized to eliminate filter errors. The proposed distributed PT controller based on local information can guarantee that all signals of the closed-loop system are PT bounded, and consensus errors of NNMSs can be enforced to a small region around the origin within a predefined time. Compared with the finite/fixed time, the predefined time is an exact value given in advance, which remains constant regardless of initial states and control parameters. Finally, two comparative simulations are provided to demonstrate the presented strategy. © 2013 IEEE.

To address the increasing computational demands and the need for enhanced stability in the orbit prediction of large-scale resident space objects (RSOs), this paper proposes a novel method grounded in orbital dynamics, which defines and computes environmental, dynamical, and fingerprint features. A feature fusion strategy is then applied to introduce a Multi-OP model comprising a shared backbone and a prediction layer tailored for orbit prediction tasks. Specifically, the shared backbone integrates environmental and dynamical features to capture public information, thereby enhancing the model’s generalization ability. The prediction layer, in contrast, leverages fingerprint features to generate individualized orbit predictions for each RSO. Experimental results demonstrate that the Multi-OP model not only enhances the accuracy of orbit prediction but also exhibits remarkable stability. © 2025 IEEE.

To improve the oxidation resistance of short carbon fiber(C_(sf))-reinforced mechanically alloyed SiBCN(MA-SiBCN)(C_(sf)/MA-SiBCN)composites,dense amorphous C_(sf)/SiBCN composites containing both MA-SiBCN and polymer-derived ceramics SiBCN(PDCs-SiBCN)were prepared by repeated polymer infiltration and pyrolysis(PIP)of layered C_(sf)/MA-SiBCN composites at 1100℃,and the oxidation behavior and damage mechanism of the as-prepared C_(sf)/SiBCN at 1300–1600℃ were compared and discussed with those of C_(sf)/*** C_(sf)/MA-SiBCN composites resist oxidation attack up to 1400℃ but fail at 1500℃ due to the collapse of the porous framework,while the PIP-densified C_(sf)/SiBCN composites are resistant to static air up to 1600℃.During oxidation,oxygen diffuses through preexisting pores and the pores left by oxidation of carbon fibers and pyrolytic carbon(PyC)to the interior of the *** to the oxidative coupling effect of the MA-SiBCN and PDCs-SiBCN matrices,a relatively continuous and dense oxide layer is formed on the sample surface,and the interfacial region between the oxide layer and the matrix of the as-prepared composite contains an amorphous glassy structure mainly consisting of Si and O and an incompletely oxidized but partially crystallized matrix,which is primarily responsible for improving the oxidation resistance.

Degradation of o-dichlorobenzene by DBD-NTP co-modified titanium gel catalyst

In order to study the degradation process of dioxins in industrial flue gas,the decomposition of o-dichlorobenzene(o-DCB)in a DBD plasma catalytic reactor was *** results showed that an NTP-catalyzed system,especially using the Cu Mn Ti Oxcatalyst,had better o-DCB degradation performance compared to plasma *** combination of the Cu Mn Ti Oxcatalyst with NTP can achieve a degradation efficiency of up to 97.2%for o-DCB;the selectivity of CO and CO_(2)and the carbon balance were 40%,45%,and 85%,*** dielectric constant and electrical property results indicated that the surface discharge capacity of the catalysts played a major role in the degradation of o-DCB,and a higher dielectric constant could suppress the plasma expansion and enhance the duration of the plasma discharge per discharge *** to the O1s XPS and O_(2)-TPD results,the conversion of CO to CO_(2)follows the M-v-K mechanism;thus,the active species on the catalyst surface play an important ***,the Cu Mn Ti Oxand NTP mixed system exhibited excellent stability,which is probably because Cu doping improved the lifetime of the *** work can provide an experimental and theoretical basis for research in the degradation of o-DCB by plasma catalyst systems.

Surface defects on optics seriously affect their service life in high-power laser system. To address this issue, repair technologies for large-aperture optics are extensively employed. However, the operation of high-power laser system generates a large number of optics requiring repair. Currently, microscopic inspection is widely used for target points classification due to its high accuracy, but it has limitations such as small field of view and low efficiency. Utilizing the OTSU algorithm and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), a dark-field classification model for optical surface target points has been developed. Upon conducting experiments with several network models, the ResNet model, a probability threshold of 0.998 were determined. In conclusion, the classification accuracy for defects was 99.18% and for contaminants was 90.34%. The outcomes show that target points on the surfaces of optics can be accurately classified using this method. © 2024 SPIE.

Rapid accuracy determining DNA purity and concentration in heavy oils by spectrophotometry methods

DNA analysis is the core of biotechnology applied in petroleum resources and engineering. Traditionally accurate determination of DNA purity and concentration by spectrometer is the first and critical step for downstream molecular biology research. In this study, three different spectrophotometry methods, BPM, NDTT and NPMTTZ were compared for their performance in determining DNA concentration and purity in 32 oil samples, and molecule methods like quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR) and high-throughput sequence were also performed to help assess the accuracy of the three methods in determining DNA concentration and purity. For ordinary heavy oil (OHO), extra heavy oil (EHO) and super heavy oil (SHO), the characteristics of high viscosity (η), density (ρ) and resin plus asphaltene content will affect the DNA extraction and UV determination. The DNA concentration was decreased as density increased: OHO (11.46 ± 18.34 ng/μL), EHO (6.68 ± 9.67 ng/μL) and SHO (6.20 ± 7.83 ng/μL), and the DNA purity was on the reverse: OHO (1.31 ± 0.27), EHO (1.54 ± 0.20), and SHO (1.83 ± 0.32). The results suggest that spectrophotometry such as BPM and NPMTTZ are qualitatively favorite methods as the quick non-consumable methods in determining DNA concentration and purity of medium oil and heavy oil.
