Simultaneous Localization And Mapping (SLAM) has become a crucial aspect in the fields of autonomous driving and robotics. One crucial component of visual SLAM is the Field-of-View (FoV) of the camera, as a larger FoV allows for a wider range of surrounding elements and features to be perceived. However, when the FoV of the camera reaches the negative half-plane, traditional methods for representing image feature points using (u, v, 1)T become ineffective. While the panoramic FoV is advantageous for loop closure, its benefits are not easily realized under large-attitude-angle differences where loop-closure frames cannot be easily matched by existing methods. As loop closure on wide-FoV panoramic data further comes with a large number of outliers, traditional outlier rejection methods are not directly applicable. To address these issues, we propose LF-VISLAM, a Visual Inertial SLAM framework for cameras with extremely Large FoV with loop closure. A three-dimensional vector with unit length is introduced to effectively represent feature points even on the negative half-plane. Control of the growth process is important for growing high-quality AlN films. In this work, AlN films were grown on c-plane sapphire substrates by metal nitride vapor phase epitaxy(MNVPE). Interlayer was added between the buffer layer and the formal layer, and the effect of the V/III ratio of the interlayer on the crystalline quality, surface morphology and stress evolution of the films was explored. An interlayer with proper V/III ratio can provide a stable transition from 3D growth mode to 2D growth mode, while high V/III ratio induce film separation. The optimum V/III ratio for the interlayer was found to be 11050, and the films obtained under this parameter had a FWHM of 641 arcsec for (002) plane and 840 arcsec for (102) plane, with an optical transmittance of 88%. And the film separation phenomenon was found on the three-step-growth samples with high V/III ratio, which was thought to be caused by being in 3D growth mode for a long time. © 2023, The Authors. The prospect of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality" determines the major role of power supply of renewable energy, and proposes higher requirements to the development of renewable energy as well. Due to the reverse distribution characteristics of the resource endowments and electricity load, most of the large-scale renewable energy is centrally sent out through long-distance AC/DC power systems, which makes the short-circuit ratio of multiple stations of renewable energy stations low, and the coupling characteristics of source and network complicated. Moreover, the problem of transient overvoltage caused by AC and DC faults is outstanding. Ximeng UHV AC/DC transmission project is the system with the world' s largest scale of once-grid-connected wind power and the most complex wind-fire bundling transmission line. The introduced artificial short-circuit test in this paper is promoted with detailed plan, considering the actual situation of geography, wind resources, grid strength, etc., and carried out in different voltage levels and different operation modes. The multi-dimensions data such as grid voltage and wind turbine power response is recorded and analyzed comprehensively, and the characteristics of transient overvoltage and wind turbine power response of Ximeng UHV project are concluded, finally the direction of further research is discussed. © 2021 IEEE

Objective:The barks,leaves,and branches of Cinnamomum cassia have been historically used as a traditional Chinese medicine,spice,and food preservative,in which phenylpropanoids are responsible *** phenylpropanoid biosynthesis pathways are not clear in *** elucidated the pathways by descriptive analyses of differentially expressed genes related to phenylpropanoid biosynthesis as well as to identify various phenylpropanoid ***:Chemical analysis,metabolome sequencing,and transcriptome sequencing were performed to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying the difference of active components content in the barks,branches and leaves of ***:Metabolomic analysis revealed that small amounts of flavonoids,coumarine,and cinnamaldehyde accumulated in both leaves and *** analysis showed that genes associated with phenylpropanoid and flavonoid biosynthesis were downregulated in the leaves and branches relative to the *** observed differences in essential oil content among the three tissues may be attributable to the differential expression of genes involved in the phenylpropanoid and flavonoid metabolic ***:This study identified the key genes in the phenylpropanoid pathway controling the flavonoid,coumarine,and cinnamaldehyde contents in the barks,branches and leaves by comparing the transcriptome and *** findings may be valuable in assessing phenylpropanoid and flavonoid metabolites and identifying specific candidate genes that are related to the synthesis of phenylpropanoids and flavonoids in ***.

Anisotropic magnetoresistance due to magnetization-dependent spin-orbit interactions

One of the recent surprising discoveries is the crystal-axis-dependent anisotropic magnetoresistance (CAMR) that depends on two magnetization components perpendicular to the current differently, in contrast to the conventional anisotropic magnetoresistance that predicts no change in resistance when the magnetization varies in the plane perpendicular to the current. Using density functional theory and Boltzmann transport equation calculations for bcc Fe, hcp Co, and bcc FeCo alloys, we show that CAMR can be accounted for by the magnetization-dependent spin-orbit interactions (SOI): Magnetization-dependent SOI modifies electron energy bands that, in turn, changes resistance. A phenomenological model reveals the intrinsic connection between SOI and order parameters. Such a mechanism is confirmed by the strong biaxial stain effect on CAMR. Our findings provide an efficient way of searching and optimizing materials with large CAMR, important in the design of high-performance spintronic devices.

On Modeling Drilling Load in Lunar Regolith Simulant

Drilling and coring, as effective ways to obtain lunar regolith along the longitudinal direction, are widely applied in the lunar sampling field. Conventionally, modeling of drill-soil interaction was divided into soil cutting and screw conveyance processes, ignoring the differences in soil mechanical properties between them. To improve the modeling accuracy, a hypothesis that divides the drill-soil interaction into four parts: cuttings screw conveyance, cuttings extruding, cuttings bulldozing, and in situ simulant cutting, is proposed to establish a novel model based on the passive earth pressure theory. An iterative numerical calculation method is developed to predict the drilling loads. A drilling and coring testbed is developed to conduct experimental tests. Drilling experiments indicate that the drilling loads calculated by the proposed model match well the experimental results. The proposed research provides the instructions to adopt a suitable drilling strategy to match the rotary and penetrating motions, to increase the safety and reliability of drilling control in lunar sampling missions.

Formal verification provides critical security assurances for neural networks, yet its practical application suffers from the long verification time. This work introduces a novel method for training verification-friendly neural networks, which are robust, easy to verify, and relatively accurate. Our method integrates neuron behavior consistency into the training process, making neuron activation states remain consistent across different inputs within a local neighborhood. This reduces the number of unstable neurons and tightens the bounds of neurons thereby enhancing the network’s verifiability. We evaluated our method using the MNIST, Fashion-MNIST, and CIFAR-10 datasets with various network architectures. The experimental results demonstrate that networks trained using our method are verification-friendly across different radii and architectures, whereas other tools fail to maintain verifiability as the radius increases. Additionally, we show that our method can be combined with existing approaches to further improve the verifiability of networks. The emerging reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS) technique can effectively compensate the propagation loss in millimeter wave communications. Considering the mobility of users in realistic environment, it is urgent to design efficient beam tracking algorithms for RIS to fast align the target users. In this work, we propose a practical codebook-based RIS passive configuration based on the updating channel parameters, i.e., angle-of-departures (AoDs) of RIS-users links, to avoid complex channel estimation procedure. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has high tracking accuracy, and yields better sum rate performance compared with the conventional channel estimation method. © 2021 IEEE.

Phosphorus (P) is an essential macronutrient for sustaining primary productivity and regulating the biogeochemical cycles of key biogenic elements in estuarine ecosystems. This study aimed to separated different P fractions in water column and surface sediments for knowing the distributions, abundance and sources of dissolved and sedimentary P, and to evaluate the ecological risk, bioavailability and release potential of P in sediments of the Dafengjiang River Estuary (DRE) and adjacent Qinzhou Bay (QZB). Our results showed that dissolved organic P (DOP) was the dominant total dissolved P (TDP) form which accounted for 54 ± 19% and 60 ± 13% in the surface and bottom seawater. Total P (TP) ranged from 6.36–24.13 µmol/g (12.71 ± 6.35 µmol/g) in the surface sediments, and predominantly consisting of inorganic P (IP) with an IP/TP ratio of 55%. The elevated sedimentary TP and higher TP enrichment index (PEI) values were observed in the mariculture areas of the DRE, implying high potential risk of eutrophication in this region. Fe bound P (Fe-P) was the dominant sedimentary IP fraction, while the average proportion of Fe-P in the DRE (34%) exceeded that of the QZB (24%), due to the adsorption of active phosphate by iron oxides gradually becomes restricted with salinity increasing in the bay. Further, the equilibrium P concentrations (EPC0) ranged from 9.23–18.98 μmol/L (average, 14.15 ± 3.43 μmol/L), which was significantly higher than the DIP concentrations (average, 0.75 ± 0.33 μmol/L) in the overlying water, suggesting that the surface sediments acted as a P source for water column. The significant positive relationship between EPC0 and the Ex-P and Fe-P contents indicating both P forms are believed to exert important influence on the potential release of P from sediments, and they played a key role in regulating EPC0. In addition, the ratio of native adsorbed P (NAP)/EPC0 ranged from 0.06–0.19 L/g (average, 0.11 ± 0.04 L/g), and was notably elevated in the QZB, imply
