Designing Proportional-Integral Consensus Protocols for Second-Order Multi-Agent Systems Using Delayed and Memorized state Information

LaTLS: A Lattice-Based TLS Proxy Protocol

The function of the Internet proxy is to check and convert the data exchanged between client and server. In fact, the two-party secure communication protocol with good security is turned into an unsafe multiparty protocol. At present, there are relatively few proxy protocols that can be applied in practice. This paper analyzes the classic agent protocol mcTLS and pointed out the security issues. We focus on the security of TLS 1.3 and proposed a lattice-based multi-party proxy protocol:La TLS. LaTLS can be proved secure in the eCK model, it can resist key-sharing attacks, counterfeiting attacks, replay attacks, and achieve forward security. Compared with traditional DH and ECDH schemes, LaTLS is more effcient. Its security is based on the shortest vector problem, therefor it has anti-quantum attack properties.

Impregnating photo-stable gold precursor onto uncalcined TS-1 to boost catalytic hydro-oxidation of propane

Nonlinear Filtering With Sample-Based Approximation Under Constrained Communication:Progress, Insights and Trends

The nonlinear filtering problem has enduringly been an active research topic in both academia and industry due to its ever-growing theoretical importance and practical *** main objective of nonlinear filtering is to infer the states of a nonlinear dynamical system of interest based on the available noisy measurements. In recent years, the advance of network communication technology has not only popularized the networked systems with apparent advantages in terms of installation,cost and maintenance, but also brought about a series of challenges to the design of nonlinear filtering algorithms, among which the communication constraint has been recognized as a dominating concern. In this context, a great number of investigations have been launched towards the networked nonlinear filtering problem with communication constraints, and many samplebased nonlinear filters have been developed to deal with the highly nonlinear and/or non-Gaussian scenarios. The aim of this paper is to provide a timely survey about the recent advances on the sample-based networked nonlinear filtering problem from the perspective of communication constraints. More specifically, we first review three important families of sample-based filtering methods known as the unscented Kalman filter, particle filter,and maximum correntropy filter. Then, the latest developments are surveyed with stress on the topics regarding incomplete/imperfect information, limited resources and cyber ***, several challenges and open problems are highlighted to shed some lights on the possible trends of future research in this realm.

Robust enhancement of valley polarization and quantum yield in composition grading lateral heterostructure of MoS2-WS2 monolayer

Valley degeneracy can be broken owing to the strong spin-orbit coupling in two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides（2D-TMDCs）. Valley-dependent interaction of carriers in TMDCs with different circular polarizations of light offers valley degree-of-freedom besides charge and spin to carry information. Thus, bandgap engineering of 2D-TMDCs plays a critical role in developing practical valleytronic devices. Hereby, we demonstrate a great enhancement in quantum yield as well as polarization of monolayer MoS2achieved by gradually alloying W atoms in MoS2. By appropriately setting a time offset between the evaporation of MoO3and WO3precursors during chemical vapor deposition, a compositionally graded heterostructure of MoS2-WS2monolayer can be readily grown at large scale. Raman and transmission electron microscopy measurements demonstrate that the interface possesses a steep gradient in composition, spanning from MoS2to WS2over a length ～2 μ*** to pure monolayer MoS2, the photoluminescence intensity at the compositionally graded interface of Mo1-xWxS2was observed to increase by a factor of 16 owing to the effective separation of photogenerated carriers by the built-in electric field. Particularly, a remarkably high polarization of 70% at 16 K is demonstrated for the compositionally graded interface of Mo1-xWxS2, which is ～1.4 times larger than that in MoS2and is attributed to the combined effect of the alloyed structure and graded bandgap. Such an engineering scheme with a graded bandgap offers new approach for the development of high-efficiency valleytronics devices.

The quantum Ising model for perfect matching and solving it with variational quantum eigensolver

Obtaining all perfect matchings of a graph is a tough problem in graph theory, and its complexity belongs to the #P-Complete class. The problem is closely related to combinatorics, marriage matching problems, dense subgraphs, the Gaussian boson sampling, chemical molecular structures, and dimer *** this paper, we propose a quadratic unconstrained binary optimization formula of the perfect matching problem and translate it into the quantum Ising model. We can obtain all perfect matchings by mapping them to the ground state of the quantum Ising Hamiltonian and solving it with the variational quantum eigensolver. Adjusting the model's parameters can also achieve the maximum or minimum weighted perfect matching. The experimental results on a superconducting quantum computer of the Origin Quantum computing Technology Company show that our model can encode 2~n dimensional optimization space with only O（n） qubits consumption and achieve a high success probability of the ground state corresponding to all perfect matchings. In addition, the further simulation results show that the model can support a scale of more than 14 qubits, effectively resist the adverse effects of noise, and obtain a high success probability at a shallow variational depth. This method can be extended to other combinatorial optimization problems.

Integrating Neighborhood Geographic Distribution and Social Structure Influence for Social Media User Geolocation

Computational study of the effect of friction coefficients and particle shape on the repose angle and porosity of sinter piles

Shape has an undeniable impact on particle behaviour,and the shapes of naturally occurring granular matter are typically *** studies of irregularly shaped particles are challenging but necessary to gain a better understanding of the flow of particulate *** study focuses on the behaviour of irregular sinter particles and applies the discrete element method to examine the effects of static and rolling friction coefficients and particle shape on the angle of repose and porosity of sinter piles.A three-dimensional model of an irregular sinter particle reconstructed by close-range photogrammetry served as the template for generating multi-sphere particles with varying numbers of sub-spheres(1,3,7,22,and 135)and sphericity ranging from 1 to *** of particle piles were conducted for a range of values of the coefficients of static and rolling *** results indicate that the angle of repose increases with static friction and also increases with rolling friction coefficient when it is lower than the static *** angle of repose shows clear dependence on particle shape,particularly for lower rolling friction *** friction coefficients for particles of five different shapes were individually determined through bulk calibration,and irregularly shaped particles in DEM were found to require lower friction *** was marginally affected by the static and rolling friction coefficients for spherical particles,while non-spherical particles showed porosity increasing with the rolling friction *** relationship between particle sphericity and porosity was nonlinear:as sphericity decreases from 1.00 to 0.69,the porosity first decreases to a minimum and then *** findings confirmed that both friction and particle shape have a significant influence on the structure of sinter piles,with implications for material handling and processing in industrial applications.

A self-adaptive inorganic in-situ separator by particle crosslinking for nonflammable lithium-ion batteries

All-safe liquid-state lithium-ion batteries(ASLS-LIBs) is of great interest as they can potentially combine the safety of all-solid-state batteries with the high performance and low manufacturing cost of traditional liquid-state LIBs. However, the practical success of ASLS-LIBs is bottlenecked by the lack of advanced separator technology that can simultaneously realize high performances in puncturing-tolerability,fire-resistance, and importantly, wetting-capability with non-flammable liquid-electrolytes. Here, we propose a concept of inorganic in-situ separator(IISS) by hybrid-sol physical crosslinking directly onto the electrode surface to address the above challenges. Particularly, the hybrid-sol is designed with silica nanoparticles as the building block and poly(vinylidene difluoride) nanoparticles as the crosslinking agent. The critical factors for controlling the IISS microstructures and properties have been systematically investigated. The advantages of the IISS have been confirmed by its fast wetting with various fireresistant liquid-electrolytes, customizable thickness and porous structures, robust interface with planar or three-dimensional(3D)-structured electrodes, and importantly, unexpected self-adaptability against puncturing. Enabled by the above merits, a fire-resistant ASLS-LIB is successfully assembled and demonstrated with stable electrochemical performance. This sol-crosslinked IISS may open an avenue for the studies on the next-generation separator technology, cell assembling, solid electrolyte processing as well as non-flammable secondary batteries.
