作者: JUMP, ME EMBERSON, WC Michael E. Jumpis the ship group leader in the Electromagnetic Pulse Branch Protection Systems Department Naval Surface Warfare Center White Oak Laboratory Silver Spring Md. He participated in the cooperative education program at the University of Maryland graduating in 1981 with a B.S. degree in electrical engineering. In 1985 Mr. Jump received his M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Whiting School of Engineering Johns Hopkins University. During the EMPRESS II trial of USSDeyoDD-989 Mr. Jump functioned as the technical trial director and his responsibilities included insuring all trial objectives were appropriately met. William C. Embersonis a systems analyst in the Protection Systems Department of the Naval Surface Warfare Center White Oak Laboratory Silver Spring Md. He received his B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University in 1964 and his M.S. in electrical engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1971. Since joining NAVSWC in 1973 he has helped lead the Navy's EMP program to where it is today and has led the development of the center's nuclear warfare analysis capability. Currently he is responsible for the technical direction of an integrated system analysis for the entire spectrum of protection systems programs.
